Abuelitas is the only cocktail bar in Topanga - open 'till 2:00 in the morning. Get there early if you want to eat. The kitchen closes around 9:30PM. Blond Eyed Blues Benefit - Sunday, Oct. 16th 2005 @ Froggy's
Well, fortunately she's all better. But it's rough for folks who don't
have medical insurance! Like your bartender.
One thing she does have, however, is acres of goodwill and friends in
many corners...
To help her pay her mountainous pile of medical bills (It was kidney
stones), Lance and Laura have organized a benefit for Lacey Brooks to
be held at Froggy's in Topanga Canyon on Sunday, Oct. 16th, 2005.

No one will be turned away at the door for lack of funds, but, listen
carefully - the suggested donation is $15.
BREAKING NEWS FLASH! In a rather sporting show of solidarity, the
single women of Froggy's have agreed to be auctioned off, for dates, to
the highest bidder! These are actual glistening and gleaming young
women who will go on a date with you, be ye woman or man, faire or
foule, so long as you prevail in the sure to be spirited bidding wars
for each of these lovelies - one of whom is the grateful recipient
herself, Lacey Brooks.
There will be a raffle for gift certificates from Topanga businesses, a dart tournament you may enter, Robin Moxie and Eric Lynn (of The No Name Band fame), downward facing dog, and others will play good-time music all stripped down and such. Robin Spehar will amaze all with his talented hands. Delightful and talented Luminaries, local and otherwise. are certain to pour out of the woodwork. Jugglers, Jesters - truly the mind boggles!
This being Topanga, the support and turn-out are likely to be huge.
Arrive early and eat some fish at Froggy's and grab a table. The event
kicks off at 6:00 PM.
